Live-In Nannies

For families who need extra hands, a full-time live-in Dallas nanny helps with childcare plus meal prep, school drop-offs, laundry, and other daily tasks. Living with the family lets a live-in nanny build strong day-to-day continuity with the children and respond quickly when plans change.

Live-In Nanny Qualifications

  • Experienced, professional care for all ages, from infants to teens
  • CPR and First Aid trained
  • Able to multi-task with minimal supervision
  • Reliable, patient, and physically able to care for the child(ren)

Typical Live-In Nanny Responsibilities

  • Providing a safe, engaging environment indoors and outdoors
  • Dressing, diapering, and grooming routines
  • Light housekeeping tied to the children — tidying play areas, children’s laundry, sterilizing bottles and toys
  • Coordinating with parents on rules and discipline
  • Transportation to activities, lessons, and appointments
  • Care during illness

Like every Nannies On the Go placement, live-in candidates go through a criminal background check, Social Security check, driving record screen, and sex-offender registry check, plus reference verification, before they’re ever presented to a family.

Domestic Help & Mother’s Helper Services

Some families need more than childcare. Our Mother’s Helper and Housekeeper placements combine light housekeeping with hands-on help for busy households — tidying, laundry, meal prep, and the everyday tasks that pile up around caring for kids.

  • Mother’s Helper — light housekeeping and childcare together, on a permanent or short-term basis
  • Housekeeper — broader household support including cleaning, laundry, and meal preparation

Both roles go through the same screening as every Nannies On the Go placement.

Why Use a Nanny Agency

Placing a nanny through an agency instead of searching independently gives Dallas/Fort Worth families a few concrete advantages:

  • Every candidate is pre-screened before you ever meet them, so you’re choosing between vetted options, not starting from scratch
  • You keep control over your child’s daily environment, routines, and who they spend time with
  • Your nanny can help with light housework and meal prep tied to the children, so you know what your child is eating
  • In an emergency, your nanny already knows your child’s allergies and medical needs and how to reach you immediately
  • Complimentary back-up care if your nanny is out — something most independent hires can’t offer

Personalized In-Home Care

Every family’s needs are different, so we start with a Family Profile that captures the services, schedule, and temperament you’re looking for, plus any special needs your child has. From there we put together a shortlist of Dallas/Fort Worth candidates who match — full-time, part-time, mother’s helper, housekeeper, after-school, summer, overnight newborn care, or sitter services — and you interview at your own pace before deciding.

Back-Up Nanny Service

If your nanny has a scheduling conflict — jury duty, a doctor’s appointment, illness — we’ll arrange a back-up nanny at no additional agency fee for as long as you employ your nanny. You only pay the back-up nanny for the hours she works.

Our Guarantee

Every full-time or part-time placement comes with a full four-month guarantee. If your nanny doesn’t work out within that window, we’ll search for a permanent replacement and provide a temporary nanny in the meantime, at no extra cost.
